OKTOBERFEST AT THE PEWSHAM

With support from the Heavitree Brewery promotions budget Chris and Harriet at The Pewsham staged a magnificent Oktoberfest event complete with live music, German food and steins of draught Lowenbrau lager (Lowenbrau is still produced in Munich and is brewed according to the German Reinheitsgebot (purity law) that dates back to 1516). A superb evening was enjoyed by the pub team and their customers and all are now looking forward to Oktoberfest 2026.

Surrounded by beautiful Wiltshire countryside The Pewsham is a 300-year-old traditional stone pub located on the busy A4 close to Chippenham. Recently refurbished and appointed to an exceptionally high standard the pub retains its natural charm whilst offering locals and weary travellers alike all mod cons in a historic setting.
