Situated in Chudleigh Knighton and packed with charm and character, this traditional thatched village pub is easily reached just off the main A38 Exeter to Plymouth road (the ‘Devon Expressway’). Offering a warm welcome and great food in relaxed surroundings, the pub is ideal for travellers and locals alike.

An à la carte menu complemented by ever-changing specials is available every day, in addition to a wide range of real ale and an extensive wine list. The pub also offers a superb breakfast menu – eat in or take away.

The Claycutter’s boasts log fires, wooden beams, a large patio area and an exceptionally large garden complete with children’s play area, goats, chickens and ducks (please take all children home with you and do not swap with any of the resident animals).

There is a large customer car park at the rear of the pub.
