Start Bay Inn

The Start Bay Inn is a stunning thatched pub dating back to the 14^th century when it was used by local fishermen who worked from the beach on which the pub was built.

The pub has a delightful and varied menu specialising in locally caught fish with a cracking selection of real ales, ciders and fine wines. The pub is run by former landlord Paul’s two daughters, Clair and Gail, but Paul can still be seen taking his boat out several times a week to source the freshest fish for the pub (tomorrow’s fish is probably still in the sea).

Outside seating overlooks the majestic bay and there is ample car parking with a customer car park adjacent to the pub and a public car park across the road.
